“World of Tanks” game included in tank model kits
Good news for model builders and online gamers: from December onwards selected* model kits of WWII tanks will come complete with a DVD of the multi-award winning computer game “World of Tanks”. The campaign forms part of a joint venture with games developer and publisher Wargaming. The massive multiplayer online (MMO) game is dedicated to armoured warfare in the mid 20th Century. With “World of Tanks”, Wargaming has brought an MMO action game onto the market, but the game is not limited to this genre alone. It offers gamers a mixture of many diverse gaming categories including role play, simulation, action, shooter and strategy. Little wonder then that “World of Tanks” is now played by more than 40 million gamers worldwide.
Many of the tanks used in the battles are available in our model range. The game is included with a total of 15 different model kits. With the DVD, the gamer is provided with the basic tanks as well as the premium tank PzKpfw S35 739 (F), including a garage parking space for the tank, and so is well equipped for the virtual battles. Additional start-up capital of 450 Gold, the game’s virtual currency, is another bonus. And finally, with a week’s access to a premium account, the gamer also receives 50 % more experience points and credits in the battles during this period, which can be used to upgrade the tanks.
